Microsoft Office Expansion List: Now, Office on Windows 10

Microsoft announced in the blog that they would soon be lining up apps for Window 10 phones! As per Jared Spataro (General Manager of Office Marketing), “the Office Universal apps preview for Windows 10 for the phone is expected to be available by the end of the month” 

He said that with this announcement Microsoft will be rounding out office on window based phones. The preview will be available at the end of April.

Although, the blog post does not list any apps, but an outline of Word and PowerPoint Universal for tablets/phone is given. The apps will resemble already available apps for Apple’s iOS and Android operating systems. For minor editing of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, an all-in-one “Office hub” will be introduced.

At the end of this month, Microsoft will release office for windows 10 out of which one is for smartphones ( having screen smaller than 8 in.) and other for larger tablets, desktops, and notebooks (touch-enabled devices). Named by, “Office Universal Apps” these are focused on modern productivity. Below, we have segregated office universal and office desktop apps features.
